Two of the biggest MMOs ever, and fans have been arguing about them for over a decade. World of Warcraft came out in 2004 and basically defined what an MMO is. Final Fantasy XIV launched in 2010 to a rough reception, got completely rebuilt, and came back in 2013 as A Realm Reborn. Its comeback is one of gaming's best redemption stories.
The case for World of Warcraft: the raids, the classes, the world, and the sheer amount of history. The case for Final Fantasy XIV: the story, the music, and a game where you can play every job on a single character.
