Fortnite vs Apex Legends: which battle royale wins?

Fortnite added its Battle Royale mode in 2017 and became more than a game: building, dances, concerts, and crossovers with everything. Apex Legends launched by surprise in 2019 and went the other way, with fast squad shooting, hero abilities, and some of the best movement in the genre.
